Welcome to Riverside Practice. To help you manage minor health issues at home, we recommend having the following items:
Digital In-Ear Thermometer
- Check for fever quickly and accurately.
- Normal Temperature: 36.1°C to 37.4°C (97°F to 99.3°F). Fever is above 37.4°C.
- Reminder: Check thermometer batteries yearly.
Paracetamol
- Reduces fever and relieves pain.
- Follow package instructions or pharmacist advice.
Ibuprofen
- Reduces pain, swelling, and fever.
- Follow recommended dosage and ask a pharmacist if unsure.
- Important: Paracetamol and ibuprofen may not be safe for everyone. Consult your pharmacist or doctor if unsure.
Basic First Aid Kit
- Includes bandages, antiseptic wipes, gauze pads, and tape for minor injuries.
