1. The November 2024 minutes were approved.
Actions:
- The practice had replied to healthwatch their comments
- The practice is still to start waste recycling
- The practice staff have been encouraged to choose healthy eating options
2. 2024-2025 PPG Improvement funds
The PPG were updated on what has been completed to date.
- Infection control works- completed
- Front door repair- completed
- New patient call screen- completed
As there was additional funding available from this years practice allocation the PPG kindly agreed the following to be funded
- Additional USB headsets as back up for the phone system
- New car park CCTV for security
- Text messaging charges
3. 2025- 2026 PPG Improvement funds
Proposed agreed spend on:
- Text messaging charges
- Annual license and support fee for the call screen
- Other annual license fees
- New equipment- tbc
4. AOB
- MD asked about the practice's approval as a veteran friendly and autism friendly practice and RG updated that the practice has arranged further training on learning disability and autism by the local clinical lead.
- AD asked about an update on what specific services there are for teenagers and young adults and RG advised that the Off centre is a local service for 16 to 25 year olds. If specific new services become available then these can be advertised using our website and waiting room call screen.
- Our new PPG member NP was welcomed to the group.
