July Meeting
The minutes were agreed and several of the actions are to be brought forward - see below.
Practice Improvement Funds
The PPG kindly agreed that the practice can use these funds to pay for the new front door automatic closing mechanism, which needed replacing and will help patients access the building.
Healthwatch Report
The recent visit and provisional report and recommendations were discussed. In total 6 actions were advised and the
practice discussed these with the PPG.
The practice discussed its proposed response and the PPG also suggested adding a poster in the waiting room promoting
the interview room to patients.
Friends and family test - July to September 2024
Overall this has been very positive scoring mostly very good or good
The results from March 2024 were:
- 71 Very good
- 13 Good
- 4 Neither good or poort
- 2 Poor
- 4 Very poor
Overall 89% of replies were very good or good and written comments were positive about getting an appointment and the care provided by all the clinicians and the front desk staff.
AOB
- A walking group has now started on Tuesday mornings at 10.30am
- The practice now has a new female GP working on Mondays and Fridays
- MD will be writing to Sandra Husband to clarify if the staying steady service can be continued after March 2025
- The practice has applied for the Bronze achievement in the Green toolkit
- The practice is an approved safe surgery
- The practice is also a veteran friendly surgery
